Manufacturing & Capability
Yes. Our production runs on parallel lines, so a small pilot order and a large repeat order can move through the factory at the same time without one blocking the other. Pilot runs carry a higher per-unit cost because setup and QC hours are spread across fewer pieces — we show you the pilot price and the projected mass-production price side by side in the quote, so you can decide which route fits your launch stage.
Yes, provided you give us a rolling forecast. Our annual capacity is not fully committed, and 5x growth from a mid-sized client is well within what we can absorb. What actually protects your lead time is planning visibility — if you share a 3-month forecast, we pre-allocate machine hours and material to your account. Unannounced spike orders can still be produced, but lead times will extend on that specific run.
Yes, we serve multiple brands within the same category — this is normal at our scale. Confidentiality is managed through signed NDAs, physically separated project files with restricted access, and a strict policy of never displaying one client's custom design in another client's factory visit or marketing material. We cannot promise category exclusivity by default, but if that is critical to you, it can be arranged as a separate commercial agreement.
Roughly 70–80% of our capacity is committed to repeat clients under rolling agreements, and 20–30% is reserved for new brand development and demand surges. Certain categories — feeding bottles and pacifiers — are more heavily booked than others. When you send an inquiry, we tell you upfront whether we have immediate capacity for your project or whether a 2-4 week booking window applies. No surprises after deposit.
We started with silicone nipples and pacifiers, expanded into full feeding sets and teethers through the 2000s, and shifted to platinum-cure LSR and multi-material bottles in the 2010s. The last five years have centered on design ownership — driving our patent count to 340+. Looking ahead, we see three directions shaping the category: developmental design, tighter chemical traceability regulation, and buyer demand for differentiation over commodity pricing.
Product Safety & Compliance
Yes. We regularly work with internationally recognized third-party laboratories such as SGS, Intertek, TÜV, and Bureau Veritas. If you are entering a market we do not currently hold reports for, we can assist with sample preparation and submission on your behalf. The testing scope, cost, and timeline vary by market and product category, and we confirm all details with you before any lab work begins.
For any product with direct oral or skin contact — nipples, pacifiers, teethers, feeding utensils — we use platinum-cure liquid silicone rubber (LSR) rated for food and infant contact. This grade is odorless, does not release volatile byproducts, and is the industry standard for premium baby brands. For non-contact components such as suction bases or exterior parts, we may use peroxide-cure silicone depending on structural requirements. Full material specification is confirmed in your product data sheet.
Yes. Test reports, Declarations of Conformity, and material safety documents can typically be issued in your brand's name where the certifying body permits it, or as a two-party document showing us as the manufacturer and your brand as the importer of record. This is particularly useful for private-label brands presenting brand-consistent documentation to retailers or customs authorities.
Our silicone baby products are formulated without BPA, BPS, phthalates, PVC, latex, or heavy metals commonly restricted under regulations such as CPSIA, REACH, and EN 71. For products combining silicone with other materials (bottle bodies, hardware components, packaging), the same restrictions apply — we source PPSU and PP grades that meet infant-contact standards. Specific material declarations for your project are provided as part of the standard documentation package.
Food-grade silicone meets regulatory standards for food contact (FDA, LFGB). Medical-grade silicone meets additional biocompatibility standards (ISO 10993) typically required for implantable or long-term skin-contact medical devices. For baby feeding and teething products, food-grade platinum-cure silicone is the appropriate and industry-standard choice — medical-grade is not required and is significantly more expensive without added benefit for this application. We use food-grade throughout our infant product lines.
OEM / ODM & Customization
No. Custom designs developed exclusively for your brand — whether the artwork, mold structure, or product form — remain associated with your project and are not offered to other buyers. This applies whether you are in active production, on a pause between orders, or have moved to another supplier. Design ownership and non-competition terms are formally set out in the OEM/ODM agreement signed before mold development begins.
Design files, physical samples, and technical drawings you send us are handled only by the account team assigned to your project. They are stored in access-restricted project folders rather than shared drives, and are not used in general staff training, sample displays, or marketing content. If you require additional protection — such as encrypted file transfer, watermarked drawings, or NDA extensions to specific individuals — this can be arranged before file exchange begins.
Yes, in most cases. We can reverse-engineer a finished product by taking dimensional measurements, material analysis, and structural teardown to build new tooling from scratch. What you should know upfront: the new mold will be functionally equivalent but not identical to your original, and small variances in wall thickness, surface finish, or parting lines are normal. We provide a comparison sample before mass production so you can confirm the match meets your standard.
For selected ODM designs, market-level exclusivity can be discussed as part of the commercial arrangement. Exclusivity typically covers a defined geographic region and a defined product form, and is generally linked to a minimum annual order commitment. Because ODM designs represent our own R&D investment, exclusivity terms are handled case-by-case rather than offered as a standard option. Ask us about a specific design and we will outline what is possible.
Yes. Multi-material products are common in our category — silicone-PPSU feeding bottles, silicone-stainless steel utensils, silicone-wood teething toys, silicone-plastic pacifier assemblies. We manage the sourcing, molding, and assembly of the full product in-house or through qualified sub-suppliers we have worked with for years. You deal with one point of contact and one PO, rather than coordinating separate factories for each material component.
Order Process & Lead Time
Our standard flow has five stages: inquiry and quotation, sample confirmation, deposit and PO issuance, mass production with in-process QC, and pre-shipment inspection followed by shipment. Your dedicated account manager keeps you informed at key milestones along the way. For OEM projects involving mold development or artwork, an additional design and proofing stage is added between sample confirmation and production. Full timeline for your specific project is confirmed in the initial quotation.
Yes. Split shipments are common for buyers with regional warehouses, multi-country distribution, or staggered retail launches. You provide the destination breakdown and required arrival dates, and we handle the separate packing lists, shipping marks, and export documentation for each shipment. Shipping cost is calculated per destination, and any consolidation or FCL/LCL choice is discussed in the quotation stage so you see the full landed cost before committing.
Our standard terms are 30% deposit against PO and 70% balance before shipment, settled by T/T bank transfer. For established repeat clients, we can discuss adjusted terms such as L/C at sight or extended balance timelines based on order history. First-time orders follow standard terms while we build the working relationship. All terms are confirmed in the proforma invoice before deposit.
You are assigned a dedicated sales account manager as your primary contact from inquiry through delivery. For technical questions during production, the account manager coordinates with our engineering and QC teams on your behalf, so you deal with one person rather than multiple internal departments. Communication is through your preferred channel — email, WhatsApp, WeChat, or scheduled video calls — and response is within one working day during our business hours.
Yes. For clients with predictable monthly demand, we support blanket POs covering an agreed annual volume, released against monthly or quarterly call-offs. This structure lets you lock in pricing, guarantee capacity allocation, and simplify administrative work compared with placing individual POs each cycle. Blanket PO terms — including release schedule, pricing validity, and volume commitment — are discussed case-by-case based on your projected demand.
Quality Control & Delivery
Color consistency in silicone comes down to two things: masterbatch sourcing and mixing precision. We lock the masterbatch supplier and formula ratio for each active client SKU, so the batch you receive six months from now matches the batch you approved during sampling. Reference color chips from the original approved sample are kept as the physical benchmark for every subsequent production run, and any visible variance is caught during 100% inspection before shipment.
Platinum-cure silicone is naturally odor-neutral, but poor handling can introduce contamination. Our production floor separates silicone processing from any solvent, ink, or adhesive operations, and finished products are stored in sealed inner packaging before being placed in master cartons. For products with particularly high sensitivity — pacifiers, nipples, teethers — an additional post-cure baking step is applied to eliminate any trace volatiles before packaging.
For shipments to humid-climate destinations, extended transit routes, or ports with known handling stress, we wrap the master cartons with PVC stretch film after loading to provide an additional moisture barrier. This is applied at the container-loading stage and adds no cost when specified during the quotation. Tell us the destination and transit route in advance so we can confirm whether film wrapping or any other reinforcement is appropriate for your shipment.
Food-grade platinum-cure silicone is highly stable — properly stored, it retains its physical properties for years without degradation. What can affect shelf appearance is surface bloom (a light haze from silicone oil migration) on some formulations, which is harmless and wipes off but can look like a defect at first glance. For retail-shelved products, we can specify low-bloom silicone grades during formulation, and we recommend keeping cartons out of direct UV exposure and high heat during warehousing.
