China Silicone Baby Teether Manufacturer

We manufacture silicone baby teethers for wholesale and custom product development, combining an established range of ready-to-produce designs with new mold development. You can build your teether range around your own colors, branding, product appearance, and market positioning without being limited to a single standard design.

PRODUCT RANGE

Silicone Baby Teether Designs for Different Product Lines

Our existing collection covers several clearly different product forms, giving you more room to select designs around your assortment rather than filling a range with products that only differ in color or surface graphics.

01-shaped-teethers

Shaped Teethers

Fruit-shaped, animal-shaped, remote-control and seasonal designs turn the complete teether body into a recognizable visual theme. This gives you more freedom to select products around a specific collection concept and create visible differences between products within the same teether range.

02-ring-loop-teethers

Ring & Loop Teethers

Ring and loop designs use the circular structure itself as the main product profile, including simple rings as well as more decorative molded versions. Their relatively unified form makes it easier for you to combine different designs while keeping a consistent visual language across the collection.

03-3d-openwork-teethers

3D & Openwork Teethers

Manhattan-ball, hollow-pattern and other three-dimensional designs create a stronger structural appearance than conventional profile-shaped teethers. They give you visibly different products to add to a collection when you want the range to extend beyond conventional molded silhouettes.

Wearable Teethers

Wearable designs such as the anti-drop glove teether use a completely different product form from conventional handheld designs. Adding this structure gives you another distinct option within the same Silicone Baby Teether collection without simply creating another decorative variation of an existing shape.

MATERIAL OPTIONS

Silicone Material Options for Your Silicone Baby Teether

The material setup should follow the product you want to put on the market. We can work around your target age, required hardness and brand color so you can define the silicone itself as part of the product specification, rather than treating every teether as the same material with a different shape.

Food-Grade Silicone for Direct Mouth Contact

We use food-grade silicone for our silicone baby teethers because the material is intended for repeated direct mouth contact. This gives you the appropriate material base for developing a baby teething product and allows the finished design to move into the testing required for your target market.

Silicone Hardness Options for Different Target Ages

Babies do not enter each teething stage at exactly the same month, so we do not lock one age to one fixed hardness. Instead, we use broader hardness ranges: earlier-age teethers remain softer for more sensitive gums, while products for later months can provide progressively more bite resistance as teeth emerge and chewing becomes stronger. For our silicone baby teether range, Shore A 70 is the upper limit we recommend for product development.

Target AgeRecommended HardnessProduct Direction
3–6 monthsShore A 20–30Softer compression and lower bite resistance for products aimed at early teething and more sensitive gums
6–12 monthsShore A 30–50Balances silicone softness with greater resistance as chewing becomes more active
12–24 monthsShore A 50–70Firmer resistance for stronger later-stage chewing, while keeping 70A as our recommended upper limit

Hardness is confirmed together with product structure.

The final hardness is confirmed together with the teether thickness and structure. A thin ring and a thick 3D teether made from the same Shore A silicone can provide noticeably different resistance, so you can select the hardness range by target age first and then confirm the final feel on the actual product.

Color Compounded into the Silicone

Your selected color is mixed into the silicone before molding, so the color forms part of the molded body rather than relying on a colored surface layer afterward. When you use several teether designs in one collection, we can work from the same confirmed color references to create a more coordinated brand palette across the range.

MOLDED PRODUCT DETAILS

Molded Details That Add Value to Your Silicone Baby Teether

For a silicone teether, details such as surface texture, edge finishing and three-dimensional geometry are part of the product itself. We use molded details to give you more room to differentiate the finished product through its actual structure, rather than relying only on colors or printed decoration.

Textures Molded Directly into the Teether

Dots, ridges, grooves and patterned surfaces can be formed directly as part of the silicone body. You can combine different texture layouts with the shape of the teether to create a more distinctive product design without adding separate textured components that change the original silicone structure.

Cleaner Edges Around Curves, Openings and Parting Lines

Irregular teethers often contain tight curves, small openings and multiple transition areas where excess silicone is more noticeable. We control molding and finishing around these positions so you receive cleaner outlines and better-defined edges, giving the finished teether a more complete appearance when it reaches your packaging and sales channel.

More Freedom for 3D and Openwork Product Designs

Silicone molding can create ball structures, open frames, hollow patterns and other dimensional forms instead of limiting your range to simple flat profiles. This gives you more freedom when developing visually distinctive teethers and allows the shape itself to become a major part of the product identity.

PRODUCT RANGE

Silicone Baby Teether Designs for Different Product Lines

Our existing collection covers several clearly different product forms, giving you more room to select designs around your assortment rather than filling a range with products that only differ in color or surface graphics.

01-existing-design

Start from an Existing Teether Design

If one of our existing shapes already fits your product direction, you can use it as the starting point instead of developing the complete body geometry again. This gives you a faster route to create your own version while avoiding unnecessary new-mold development for a shape that already meets your requirements.

Custom Silicone Colors

You can specify the color direction for an individual teether or build several designs around one coordinated palette. We match the silicone to your confirmed color reference before production, giving you control over how the teether fits into your existing baby-product collection and overall brand presentation.

Add Your Brand to the Product

Your logo can be incorporated into an appropriate area of the teether rather than allowing branding to dominate the chewing surfaces or main molded details. We confirm the logo size, position and final appearance with you so the finished product carries your identity without compromising the original design.

Develop a New Teether Shape

If you want an exclusive product rather than an existing design, we can develop the teether around your sketch, reference concept or 3D file and create a dedicated mold for the approved shape. This allows you to introduce a product with its own silhouette and structure instead of competing with another standard market design in a different color.

Build Custom Textures into the Mold

For a new teether design, raised dots, grooves, lines, patterns and other surface details can be incorporated into the mold together with the main product geometry. You can therefore control not only the outer shape of the product, but also how different areas of the finished teether look and feel.

Mold Design and Manufacturing Resources

Mass Production of Complex Silicone Teether Shapes

Once the final mold has produced the approved teether, it defines the irregular profile, openings and 3D details throughout production. We do not manually reshape the product or measure every curve. This lets you use fruit, animal, ring and openwork designs without turning complex geometry into manual production work.

During production, we focus on whether each teether is fully molded and keeps its intended form. Pieces with incomplete molding, obvious deformation, damaged thin sections or defective openwork areas are removed rather than corrected and included in your order. This keeps visibly malformed products out of your delivered goods.

PRODUCT SAFETY

Safety Considerations for Silicone Baby Teether Products

For a product that is repeatedly chewed, material selection is only one part of safety. We also pay attention to whether the finished teether can create detachable parts or structural weak points, especially when the design moves beyond a simple one-piece silicone body.

01-one-piece-design

Fewer Connection Points with One-Piece Designs

For applicable all-silicone teethers, the main body, chewing areas and molded textures can be produced as one piece without adding separate decorative components. This removes unnecessary assembly points from the chewable structure and gives you a simpler product construction when selecting or developing a teether.

Detachable Parts Need Product-Level Attention

Detachable Parts Need Product-Level Attention

When a design contains separate rings, beads, wood parts or other connected components, we treat these connections as part of the product’s safety structure rather than as decoration. Their attachment and potential to create small parts must be considered before the design is used for a baby teether.

Finished Teether Evaluation, Not Material Alone

A food-grade silicone result does not automatically cover every risk created by the finished product design. For your selected teether, the final safety evaluation should follow the complete product—including its shape, connected components and mechanical structure—according to the requirements of the target market.

PRODUCT PACKAGING

Packaging Options for Your Silicone Baby Teether

The packaging you choose should follow the actual profile and structure of the teether. We provide several retail packaging options, allowing you to match flat, ring-shaped, 3D and set-format teethers with a more suitable presentation.

printed-color-box

Printed Color Box

A fully enclosed printed box works particularly well for thicker or more dimensional teethers. You gain enough printable area for the teether’s target age, material, texture features, instructions and barcode while keeping the irregular silicone product completely contained inside one retail package.

window-color-box

Window Color Box

A window color box keeps part of the actual teether visible while retaining the printable surfaces of a paper box. For fruit, animal and other recognizable shapes, you can expose the silicone color, outline and selected molded details instead of presenting the product only through printed images.

clear-pet-box

Clear PET Box

Clear PET packaging is particularly suitable for 3D, hollow and openwork teethers because the product remains visible from a wider viewing angle. You can make structures such as Manhattan-ball designs the main visual element of the package instead of hiding the feature that differentiates the teether.

blister-hanging-card

Blister & Hanging Card Packaging

Blister-card packaging suits flatter shaped teethers and ring designs particularly well. The formed blister keeps the teether in a fixed display position while its front profile and molded textures remain visible, giving you a compact package suitable for products displayed on retail hooks and hanging fixtures.

gift-set-box

Gift & Teether Set Box

A gift or set box can hold several teether shapes, textures or coordinated colors in one package. You can use it when building a multi-teether collection or combining selected teething products into one set, instead of treating every teether as an individually packaged item.

FAQs

Can I change the shape of an existing teether mold without developing another mold?

No. The main outline, openings and 3D geometry are determined by the existing mold cavity. You can change elements that do not affect the basic mold geometry, but if you want a noticeably different silhouette, opening layout or structural form, the tooling must be modified or a new mold developed for that design.

Does using harder silicone automatically make a teether more resistant to tearing?

No. Shore A hardness describes material hardness, not tear resistance by itself. A teether’s resistance to damage is also affected by silicone properties and the geometry of thin tips, narrow bridges and textured areas. Simply increasing hardness can change the bite feel without solving a structural weak point in the design.

Can a one-piece silicone teether still create a small-part risk?

Yes. One-piece molding removes assembly joints, but it does not automatically eliminate every small-part risk. If a thin or elongated silicone section can break or be bitten off, the separated piece may become relevant to small-parts requirements. CPSC guidance specifically includes pieces that break off during simulated use or abuse testing.

Can a new teether go directly into mass production after the 3D design is approved?

No. A 3D file can confirm geometry, but it cannot show the exact flexibility, bite resistance or physical behavior of the molded silicone product. A physical sample gives you the opportunity to evaluate the actual teether before its material and structure are fixed for mass production.

Should a silicone-and-wood teether be treated the same as a one-piece silicone teether?

No. Once wood or another material is added, you are dealing with more than the silicone body. The additional material, its surface treatment and the connection between components become part of the finished teether. The complete product therefore needs to be considered as a multi-material structure rather than using the silicone material result alone.

Are all products marketed as “teethers” treated the same way in the U.S.?

No. Product claims matter. CPSC states that teethers intended to soothe a child, but not specifically to relieve teething pain, fall under its jurisdiction and ASTM F963 Section 4.22. If a product is primarily intended to relieve teething pain, CPSC directs it toward FDA jurisdiction instead. Your U.S. product positioning therefore should be considered before finalizing claims and packaging text.
